Below is a list of helpful resources that our MoneyWise staff and volunteers have compiled to help as you navigate different financial decisions.

MoneyWise mentoring is free of charge. You do not have to be a Christian to participate. Mentors are trained volunteers who have shown maturity in their relationship with God and wisdom in their finances. You will be matched based on schedules, locations, and life experiences, and you can meet by Zoom or in person. Weekly homework usually takes an hour or more per week. Contact us for financial assistance details.

What this looks like in practice

Toddlers move between free play, snack, and rest on a predictable rhythm. Preschoolers spend part of the morning at tables with open-ended materials and part on the rug for group time. Teachers sit at eye level during hard moments. You will see art on the walls at your child's height. You can ask your child's teacher what they noticed that day.

When the day is steady, your child comes home with a fuller vocabulary and more patience for small tasks. They learn to take turns, clean up, and ask for help. You may notice fewer meltdowns at dinner. Their play grows longer and more detailed. A good day here shows up as a calmer evening at home.
