Day 3.

Two Sunday services, in person or online, for your family.

What this looks like in practice

In a weekday preschool room, the day is paced around the children. There is a stretch of free play, a story, a song, a snack, and time outside. Teachers move with the group rather than watching the clock. Parents dropping off see cubbies, name labels, and a teacher who knows which child needs a quiet hello.

A predictable rhythm helps a young child carry the day at home. Children who sing the same song or retell the same story are practicing memory and language. They learn to wait for a turn and to ask an adult for help. Those small habits show up at the dinner table and at bedtime, long after preschool ends.

Two girls wearing green headbands and dark shirts stand outdoors and reach toward a woman holding a large green gift bag across a white table with boxed food items.
Three women walk toward the camera on a paved path lined with grass and trees, with other people and parked cars visible in the background.
